The 2020-21 Neil Cummins Readathon kicks off Monday, January 4, 2021, and what a way to start the year --- reading! Students are not coming to the libraries due to Covid restrictions, and my time is primarily at the middle school, but you may still email me for assistance or advice at [email protected]. Neil Cummins students and parents may request books and Mrs. Traverso, the Neil Cummins Library Clerk will deliver requests to classrooms or make arrangements for distance-learning families to pick up the materials. Students in grades 3 - 5 may request books by placing books on hold in the catalog system at the Library webpage. Here is a tutorial on how to do this. Parents or teachers of students in grades K - 2 may request books for them by placing books on hold in the catalog system (preferred method) or emailing the library staff a request at [email protected]. Library staff will email with pickup instructions when books are ready for pickup. Books may be returned by leaving them in classroom return bins or the Library Book Return box on Fridays between 8 am - 4 pm at each site.
